Sacred to the memory of Amelia wife of Richard Gledhill of Slaithwaite who departed this life April 20th 1848 aged 53 years.
“What cheers the Christian dying breath and makes it long to share when passing through the vale of death she knows the Lord is there”
Also of the above named Richard Gledhill who departed this life July 27^th 1852 aged 57 years.
Also of John Gledhill son of the above Richard and Amelia Gledhill who departed this life September 21^st 1854 in the 36^th year of his age.
Farewell, thou late dear partner of my care
Thy friendly converse I no more shall share
Fairwell, thou object of my warmest love
Saints hail thee welcome to the realms above
There may I meet thee after death to dwell
At Gods right hand till then loved one farewell”
Also of Martha their daughter who departed this life July 15^th 1887 aged 71 years.
