In affectionate remembrance of Charles Eagland of Blakestones Slaithwaite who died March 1^st 1884 aged 60 years.

Also of Charlotte his wife who died October 16^th 1886 aged 65years.

Ah! how patient in their sufferings when no hand could give their ease: God, the helper of the helpless saw their grief and sent them peace.
