He was about 60 years steward of this manor to 3 Earls of Dartmouth.

Also of John the son of William and Sarah Varley who died August 30^th 1851 aged 9 months.
Also of Sarah their daughter who died February 3^rd 1873 aged 19 years.

Also the above named William Varley who died February 20^th 1879 aged 66 years.
Also of Sarah wife of the above William Varley who died February 13^th 1897 aged 77 years.
