In Memory of Elizabeth the beloved wife of Nathan Varley of of Crimble Clough Slaithwaite who departed this life August 11^th 1836 aged 59 years

Farewell dear wife
My love as been unfading to the last
Weep not for me no mourning for me
But love me lived in love them for me
In love we lived in love the
My life was asked in prayer for God
Also of the above named Nathan Varley who departed this life Febry 25^th 1849 aged 74 years
Farewell dear children now I to am gone
To join my partner and her will have done
Leaving you now to God’s parental care
Till we shall meet beyond the need of prayer
