Beneath this stone waiting the resurrection, the remains of William France of Kitchen in Linthwaite, In the Parish of Almondbury, Who departed this life on the 22^nd day of January Anno Domini 1792 in the 74^th year of his age.

Also John France of Shawfield, for 40 years Clerk of this Church, Who departed this life September 21^st 1858 aged 78 years.
