Grave A33           BOTTOMLEY

Beneath this stone lie waiting the resurrection the remains of James  Bothomley late of West End in Slaithwaite near this place, who exchanged this transitory life for one more endurable on the 31^st day of January in the year of our Lord, 1802 in the forty fifth year of his age.
Also the remains of Mary wife of the above James Bothomley, who departed this life the 3^rd of September 1820 aged 63 years.
Also of Isaac their grandson and son of John Bottomley of Gatehead, Marsden who died on the 30^th March 1847 in the 21^st year of his age.
Also of Elizabeth the beloved wife of the aforesaid John Bottomley who died on the 21^st of February 1853 in the 64^th year of her age.

Also of the above mentioned John Bottomley who departed this life on the 18^th day of December 1856 in the 77^th year of his age.
