Beneath this stone was deposited the remains of William Savile son of George and Mary Savile of Bottomley in Barkisland who departed this life on the 18^th day of June 1805 in the 20^th year of his age.

Also George Savile father of the said William, who departed this life on the 20^th day of April 1812 in the 69th years of his age.

Also George son of the above said George who departed this life on the 12^th of March 1819 in the 36^th year of his age.

Also Mary wife of the above George Savile Senior, who departed this life on the 12^th day of  December 1824 aged 75 years.
