Beneath this stone lieth the body of Joseph Bamforth of Wilberlee in Slaithwaite who departed this life on the 18^th day of  February 1807, in the 63^rd years of his age.
Also Hannah the wife of the above Joseph Bamforth  who departed this life on the 30^th May 1813, aged 69 years.
Also near this stone lies John  son of the above who departed this live November 14^th 1836, aged 64 years.
Also Nancy wife of Richard Bamforth who dpaerted this life January 28^th 1854 aged 46 years.
Also of John their son who departed this life January 24^th 1856 in the 18^th year of his age.
Also of the above named Richard Bamforth who departed this life March 14^th 1857 in the 52^nd  year of his age.
Also of Jane Bamforth their daughter who departed this life on the 12^th day of April 1858 in the 14^th year of her age.
Also of Hannah Bamforth their daughter who died February 18^th 1863, aged 85 years.
